Below, we've assembled a list of our favorite time-saving tips that will help you achieve your best post-gym hair!
1. Create a Schedule to Avoid Over-Shampooing
You've probably heard that it's bad to wash your hair every day, but after an intense sweat session a full-blown shampoo and conditioning seems completely appropriate. You're right, sweat and grime should not be left to build-up in your hair, but also remember that over-processing strips the healthy oils your hair naturally produces. 2. Leave-In Conditioners and Masks
One of our favorite time-saving tricks is working out after applying a leave-in conditioner or hair mask. These products act as a barrier to sweat and have the added bonus of nourishing your hair while you achieve a productive workout. Apply your product as directed, tie your hair back and get moving!

3. Consider Hairstyle
Where and how you wear your hair can affect how sweaty it gets and determine whether you will experience breakage and dryness. Tie your hair loosely to avoid breakage or take it down immediately after your workout to avoid undue stress. High ponytails and loose topknots are the best ways to wear your hair during a workout, keeping it far away from sweat on your neck and face. Loose braids are also great, giving you the additional option to wear the style out of the gym with little or no upkeep
4. Invest in a High-End Dry Shampoo
Use dry shampoo to help retain your hair's natural oils.
