This is another simple test that measures the amount of hair loss. It does so by having the person comb their hair for 60 seconds and then assessing the amount of hair that is lost in the process. Everyone should keep in mind that the average person loses 50-100 strands of hair per day, so losing a few strands of hair during the combing process is not a cause for concern. However, if an excessive amount of hair is lost during the one-minute combing session, especially under otherwise normal conditions, then it may indicate an underlying health issue.
